Well the reality is quite different for most rental property owners… tenant lawsuits, maintenance calls at all hours of the night, leasing up your own property, chasing down rent, plus hundreds of other tedious tasks.

We created RL Property Management to make that dream of passive income available to all property owners. Previously this type of professional property management was only available to institutional-grade investors who owned large multifamily properties with over 100 units. We are bringing that same level of professional management and providing it to all real estate investors.

Part of how we do this is by being selective about which properties we manage; which reduces cost and overhead for us, and we pass those savings on to you. This means our clients enjoy a premium Columbus property management experience without paying a premium price.

Tenants are another big headache that we have solved for. Our proprietary PredictMyTenant screening process evaluates and grades prospective tenants on the “big-5” (credit, criminal, eviction, rental history, and income). It goes beyond obvious red-flags and uses regressive analysis to predict tenant outcomes based on past behavior. An analysis of leases which ended in 2017 revealed that tenants screened with PredictMyTenant were almost 50% less likely to “go bad” (be evicted or damage the property) and the average tenant stay was over 50% longer. And, in the unlikely event that a tenant “goes bad” we have the systems to address. We handle the eviction process start to finish including court appearances if necessary.
